CHIEF OF POLICE



The Township of Robeson in southern Berks County is seeking a full-time Chief of Police to provide professional leadership, direction, and administration of the Township’s Police Department. Responsibilities include supervision of personnel, enforcement of laws and ordinances, development of departmental policies, budgeting, community engagement, and ensuring public safety services are delivered effectively and professionally. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, communication skills, and law enforcement management experience. PUBLIC WORKS CREW MEMBER

The Township of Robeson in southern Berks County is seeking two full-time Public Works Crew Member to perform a variety of road, grounds, and municipal maintenance duties. Responsibilities include road repair and patching, drainage maintenance, mowing and vegetation control, sign installation and repair, snow plowing and salting, debris removal, and assisting with the maintenance of Township vehicles, buildings, and equipment. The position requires operation of hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment including dump trucks, snow plows, and backhoes.

Candidates must be able to perform strenuous physical labor in varying weather conditions, work independently after training, and respond to emergency and weather-related callouts as needed. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid Pennsylvania CDL Class A or Class B license. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

FISCAL ASSISTANT

The Township of Robeson in southern Berks County is seeking a part-time Fiscal Assistant to provide clerical, administrative, and customer service support for daily Township operations. Responsibilities include assisting residents and visitors, answering phones and emails, processing correspondence, maintaining records and files, supporting Township staff and the Board of Supervisors, and assisting with permits, scheduling, and general office administration.



Candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, with the ability to multitask and interact professionally with the public. Prior municipal or administrative office experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software is required. Experience with QuickBooks is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional administrative training or experience is desirable.
