CODE OF ORDINANCES

 Ordinances are the local body of law. All ordinances are adopted by the Board of Supervisors; these ordinances detail and direct the local will for zoning, the structure of the local government, parks and recreation, as well as many others.


Ordinances are codified into the “Code of Ordinances” in order to keep the body of local law accessible. Some ordinances are ‘standalone’ and are not included in the code. These ordinances are listed here in addition to the code.
